2 Factor Authentication

Earn the trust of your customers by protecting their critical personal data

Passwords alone are not enough to guarantee data security. 50% of consumers let retailers save their personal data, and today’s leading retailers protect this data using two-factor authentication. This provides an added level of security, which in today’s world is an essential requirement for every application.

Two-factor authentication (or 2FA) adds a second layer of protection in addition to your password - typically a code from a device that the user carries on their person. Adding this additional security layer makes it much harder for hackers to break into your accounts, and ensures your customers’ data remains secure.

Discover multi-channel verification via SMS or voice message

Our dedicated team of in-house API developers have done all the hard work, so you don’t have to. Designed to be implemented quickly and easily, the SMS API comes with all the critical features and reliability you need to add two-factor authentication to your apps.

Using a push notification to a mobile device starts a secure, user-friendly authentication process. This can also be used for protecting in-app transactions, like payments, or to verify a user’s phone number. Deutsche Telekom’s SMS API even provides SMS authentication and push notifications for situations where a customer’s phone might not be online.
